Calling all 6th–10th grade artists and creatives!

Not All Lending Is Good Lending! In times of emergency, taking out a loan may seem like the easiest solution—but quick fixes can often lead to more debt. Predatory lenders use high interest, hidden fees, and unfair tactics that can damage your money, credit, and future.  We want YOU to use your creativity to raise awareness about the dangers of predatory lending!

Through this activity, you’ll learn how to:
* Recognize unfair lending practices
* Avoid costly traps
* Protect your financial future

Your Challenge:
Create an original artwork showing how to avoid predatory lending.

Deadline:
Submit your artwork to collegekids@stlouis-mo.gov by September 30th for a chance to win $50!🏆

Prizes:
* One winner from each grade (6th–10th) will be selected
* Winners will be announced on October 10th
* Each winner will receive a $50 incentive sponsored by Alltru Credit Union
