College Kids, 1st Financial Federal Credit Union, and Treasurer Tishaura O. Jones hosted the last Family Savings Night of the school year on May 21, 2019.
College Kids members who attend Family Savings Night events receive a $20 scholarship from 1st Financial Federal Credit Union to be deposited into their saving accounts.
A total of 34 students contributed to their savings accounts – totaling $739 in deposits!
Family Saving Night events consist of children and parents enjoying an evening of pizza. There’s also an art contest! Students are asked to draw what they wanted to be when they grew up, or where they want to attend college and what they will look like on campus.
Winners received a $100 scholarship, provided by 1st Financial.
